On 31 October 2019 we celebrated Samhain together. Many know this celebration under its more modern name: Halloween. Samhain is one of the great wheel-of-the-year rituals, because it heralds the dark season, bids farewell to summer/late summer - and is also the Celtic or witches new year. On this special night, the veils to the Otherworld are particularly thin, and we seize this opportunity to remember our ancestors and beloved deceased and to honour them for having walked the path before us. Without them we would not be where we are today.

Our Wheels-of-the-Year celebrations are always designed to be suitable for the whole family. There are usually many children present, we eat, drink, enjoy being together - and if you feel like it, you can participate in a small ritual.

The celebration of the summer solstice was a huge success.

During the ritual, we were accompanied by a black cat in the middle of the forest, far away from any houses. The cat stayed with us, until we left the place and went home.
